Theme of the Week - Blueberries

Theme of the week... blueberries. It was our first time picking local blueberries and it was such fun! Granted, my theme of the week cannot compare to the fabulous Katherine and her outstanding themes, but I gave it a shot.

BLUEBERRY PICKING



MATH using paper blueberries. I wrote down numbers and had my daughter try to come up with different combinations to equal that total.



POM POM craft. Blue, round.... close enough? Not according to my daughter. She proclaimed that the finished pom pom looked nothing like a real blueberry. Sigh.

We also made a blueberry smoothie. I loved it. My daughter... not so much....
